When you start feeling the urge go do that thing instead. Porn is extremely hard, biggest thing is to find something to replace it with as well. He drinks coffee again now but is very moderate about it. He could quit the energy drinks but couldn't quit the coffee. My co-worker did the same this but used energy drinks for some reason that worked for him. Then it was easier to quit the Hot Chocolate. I still got sugar for some energy but I didn't get the caffeine. One More Note: At first you'll probably hate all the hobbies you try because your brain wants the easy route so you'll have to realize the enjoyment of the new hobbies may take a while to develop.Ĭoffee is hard cause of the caffeine, what worked for me was actually replacing coffee with Hot Chocolate slowly. The more you do this the longer between cravings should grow. Your brain wants what is comfortable, deal with the uncomforting feelings for a little bit and distract yourself with a new hobby/habit and your brain will eventually let go of the feeling for a little while.
